In the forefront of the instrumental grime sound in Flava D and her affiliates, the Butterz crew. The Butterz crew is so influential it has almost become its own genre. You might hear a DJ describe the music as, ”that Butterz sound.” She is also a member of the legendary Eskibeats and A list.
Flava D brings all the heat you would expect from a Butterz crew member along with a massive sound that is sexy, infectious and reminiscent of the 2-Step glory days. ‘Rhythm & Gash’ was so addictive, it had over one million streams on Soundcloud. Her collaboration with Royal T for ‘On My Mind’ was brilliant and we are begging for more. Since then, Flava has dropped several releases. Her production and live sets are a beautiful journey through RnB vocals, sensual landscapes and hard hittin’ four to the floor basslines. Her sets are perfect for everything from a first date to a mash up with your best homies.
