The Sub.Mission Agency is pleased to introduce the newest member of its ever-expanding family,
Andreilien. With the addition of Andreilien’s sound onto Sub.Mission’s roster, the agency is widening its
already broad reaches by highlighting the impact of cerebral, west coast trip hop beats within the global
bass music scene.
Standing as a staple in the west coast bass music scene for the better part of a decade, Andrei Olenev
first grabbed the attention of the masses with his project “Heyoka,” which earned him slots on festival
stages around the world. Over the last five years, however, he has been producing and performing under
the name “Andreilien,” which boasts Andrei’s distinct musical style: a solid foundation of deep sub bass
and heavy psychedelic inspiration. His early influences in downtempo and dub are combined seamlessly
with his current sound that accentuates the energy of midtempo dance floor genres, helping create a very
unique sound that combines relentless baselines, hip hop rhythms and dub vibes, all sitting atop a
bedrock of trip hop.

As Heyoka, Andrei released his first EP in 2008 entitled Space Case and has since released many
albums and EPs through San Francisco’s Muti Music; a leading name in the glitch hop and bass music
scene. As his newly incepted moniker Andreilien, Andrei has continued to develop his sound, culminating
in his latest Fragment release. Over the years, Andreilien has maintained a heavy club and festival tour
schedule, with performances booked at noteworthy North American festivals like Symbiosis, Sonic Bloom,
Burning Man and Lightning in a Bottle as well as many international festivals and clubs. Further seeking
to expand his repertoire, Andrei has been continually working to develop a multimedia project with original
Visionary and 3D art to create full sensory fractal journey, which he plans on touring with in the future.
