Assembling not only years of expansive, technical production prowess but also deeply rooted influences
spanning the likes of grime, garage, reggae, and drum and bass, Emalkay has engraved an undeniable
mark within the global dubstep scene. First releasing garage tracks in the early 2000s on his own Morphic
Sounds imprint in 2005, Emalkay shifted sonic gears in 2006 after signing to dubstep label Boka Records
in 2006; resulting in a slower, darker, and more tense sound with earth shattering bass and spacious
arrangements. Emalkay then made his debut on Caspa's notorious Dub Police label with the roaring 2009
single "Explicit." This career milestone was then followed and trumped by the release of two infectious
and historic anthems "When I Look at You" and “Fabrication;” boasting addictive, future-leaning
cinematics and stirring, textured bass. During this critical period in his career, Emalkay quickly surfaced
as a favorite among dubstep DJs and fans alike for a slew of original tracks that boasted equally
suspenseful and impactful flare. Emalkay’s output has since deemed him a brilliant and exciting staple
within dubstep’s global sound.

Throughout his extensive career, Emalkay has teamed up with the likes of scene heavy hitters such as
Caspa, The Glitch Mob and Rod Azlan and released on platforms such as UKF, Dub Police, GetDarker
and Rampage. Aside from cranking out monumental, genre-defining tracks during pivotal moments during
dubstep’s growth and evolution, Emalkay has always defined his sound by constantly refusing to
categorize himself by anything other than his own musical evolution and standards. He has only
continued to break new ground and move forward with each and every track he makes, while always
declining the invitation to settle or conform.
