This next installment of Electronic Tuesdays will be one for the books as Badklaat and Requake (U.S. debut) plan to destroy the other side!
Badklaat:
Comin’ at ya hot for the opening April installment of Electronic Tuesdays is Badklaat. (https://soundcloud.com/badklaat)
It is apparent that he was busy in 2015 writing tracks that represent the Never Say Die label respectivly. His track “Swagsville” (https://soundcloud.com/badklaat/badklaat-swagsville-clip ) is featured on recent Never Say Die Volume 4 by Skism, in addition, “Go Zerk” (https://soundcloud.com/badklaat/badklaat-go-zerk-out-now) was premiered as an opening track in Megalodon’s Blalck Label XL 3 MIx on the Never Say Die’s Black Label series.
You can tell Badklaat is genuine artist of his craft, he expresses gratitude to his supporters by releasing free tracks via Soundcloud, such as the “The Leviathans (https://soundcloud.com/badklaat/badklaat-the-leviathans ).” This track's title, Leviathan, is synonymous with any large sea monster or creature. With analyzing it upon the first listen, the sound accurately represents such a powerful mythical creature, holding your attention with a steady metronome of deep mechanized bass wobbles.
With the recent popularity and adoption of quicker, upbeat and high pitched samples peppered into dubstep sets; Badklaat stays true to his sound with deep downtempo grime, signature wobbles, and electric snare pulsing with each beat. His has collaborations include Trampa, Requake, Megalodon, Beezy, Disonata, and many others.
Go Zerk
Requake:
Also making his U.S. debut in Denver for E-Tuesdays is the duo known as Requake! (https://soundcloud.com/requake )
Their style mimics an old school riddim sound, representing an authentic eerie, garage gem, complemented by a leaky background snare. Requake creates an environment involving deep, grimy sound waves that will be sure to please the vibrations of your auditory nerve on a warning level.
Requake & Badklaat are no strangers to collaborating, in addition to collaborations with Badklaat; Requake has played along the likes of Bukez Finezt, Trolley Snacha, Black Sun Empire, Funtcase, Emalkay, and SKisM.
