Dubstep’s resident madman returns to The Black Box this Thursday, July 12th. An innovator of the 140 template and one of bass music’s most loved imaginations, Bukez Finezt is notoriously unpredictable. Still, one thing is for sure: this artist will throw down a set like you’ve never heard before.
As a dubstep producer, Bukez Finezt’s tunes span the genre’s stylistic spectrum. His release repertoire ranges from Deep Medi to Disciple: a testament to his versatility, and his universal status as sound system royalty. Bukez’s reputation reaches beyond dubstep, too. His unreleased track “CRAK PYPEZ” was recently featured on Noisia’s radio show.
Bukez’s set at the Sub.mission 10 year anniversary was an unbridled explosion of subfrequent energy. His DJ sets are as diverse as his discography, and his personality on the decks is known to enchant dance floors worldwide. The Denver favorite builds a bridge from dubstep’s storied history into the future of the sound through his astute selection and eye for engaging a crowd. Thursday’s event promises not only a party, but a proper education.
