One week from today we have the return of G Jones and The Widdler, two of our absolute favorites, and the Denver debut of SAYER. All of this is going down at The Otherside of Cervantes and it is a guarantee you can expect a party with these three in rotation on the decks. 
Greg Jones aka G Jones hailing from Santa Cruz, California has been making some serious moves lately and putting out tune after tune while playing shows all over North America and beyond. Jones started playing music as G Jones around 2012 and since then has been pretty non-stop with the project. His EP “Eyes” came out in fall of 2013 and since then he has gained the attention of some pretty renowned artists from all different genres. For what Jones describes as “trippy, broken beat bass music,” his sound sure is a unique one that people seem to really be digging these days. Last year was a huge year for him too, dropping an EP with our other headliner, The Widdler, and making a song together, which you can check out below. The EP called “Diamonds” was 3 songs with a tune from each of them and then a collaborative tune called “Diamonds on my Neck.” Check out that below!
Last year we also saw him putting out a lot of his own music, and garnering the attention of all sorts of bigger name artists like Bassnectar and DJ Shadow. Since then he has gone on to do a remix for one of Bassnectar's tunes and a song with him and then was brought on to open up for him at both his NYE 360 show at the end of last year in Nashville, TN and again this year for his Red Rocks shows. Not only Bassnectar, but DJ Shadow and him even teamed up to put out an EP as the duo "Nite School Kilk" which was released on Shadow's "Liquid Amber" label. He also recently put out another one of his own EP's for free called "That Odd EP in the Pit of My Hard Drive" which features 11 songs and one of my personal favorites his Ultra VIP of his tune "Mirage," hopefully we'll hear that one next weekend! One thing is for certain, keep your eye on this man because big things are coming from him, with the momentum he's been gaining over a short time we can only imagine how many good things are coming from this guy.
Performing before G Jones we also have one of my all time favorites and Sub.mission Agency artist The Widdler aka Yoni Oron. The last time he was in town was for our Rooftop parties at Club Vinyl and his set was awesome, full of some amazing tunes and I know next week he's going to bring the heat again!

The Widdler has been making music for a while now since the age of about 10 and has all kinds of different releases with different labels. One of my favorite releases from him dating back to December 2008 with his Sensi Samurai EP. With tunes like "Lady Dub" on that EP and "Outback," Yoni made his name in the bass music scene in America without a doubt. Another great one from him would be some of the songs he has put out on the label Dank N' Dirty Dubz, including his tune "Acheri" from the "Lost in Space Pt.2" EP.
Recently, The Widdler had his release last year with G Jones and has put out some other remixes this year, including his remix of Organik and Dj Variant's tune "Thunder Roll." I'm sure we can expect a pretty good time from this guy next Friday. He hasn't disappointed us yet and I'm sure he never could. Make sure you don't miss this legend right before G Jones next week. Playing before him we also have the Denver debut of Sayer, hailing from Oakland, California. Sayer has had releases on Saturate Records which is the same label G Jones released an EP of his on, so the two are both making that kind of similar sounding weird trippy bass music or whatever the kids are calling it these days.
