This upcoming Tuesday, Sub.Mission welcomes the sounds of the one called Amit. While Amit has graced Denver with sets at Recon’s drum and bass nights, this will be his debut set at Electronic Tuesdays for Sub.Mission. Carving a name for himself in drum and bass’s colossal history with boundary pushing albums on Commercial Suicide, Amit has also taken a liken to the 140 foundation sound. Combining his years of production expertise with the vibes of the roots sound, I truly don’t think Denver is ready for what he has in store.

Amit’s sound is hard to miss. His music could be a soundtrack for any number of horror films, as haunting atmospheres and twisted bass deliver with potency. From half time drum and bass to rootsy dubstep, Amit always packs jaw-dropping sub lines. And to contrast the dark skankers and mystical steppers, his work with the lovely vocalist Rani results in some truly moving pieces. With an impressive back catalog that features releases on labels such as Metalheadz, Exit Records, & Tempa, Amit decided to start his own imprint in 2013 in the form of AMAR.  Using the platform to push his diverse productions, AMAR has featured no shortage of anthems that have consistently surfaced on Youngsta’s Rinse FM shows. Whether it be dubstep or drum and bass, the man absolutely smashes the game.

Opening up the night, we have the splendid sounds of the Recon boss Despise. An absolute monster behind the decks, Despise is sure to unleash an array of sounds that span across the vast spectrum of drum and bass. And closing out, we have the one like Dillard – whose sound creeps into Innamind territory while still maintaining a unique Colorado feel to it.

If you’re a fan of bass music, Amit is the mecca. Seeing him on a Tuesday almost seems unfair. But for those in the know, it is going to be one epic party!
