How crazy was last year? 2015 seriously went off from beginning to end and we have the ticket stubs and countless memories to prove it. In our ongoing .mission to “Hustle Knowledge” of proper bass culture not only Denver but the world, we achieved so much in the last year and by doing so we proved once again that Denver is the number one place for bass in the US with a very diverse and educated fan base to carry it on for years to come. You should know by now that Sub.mission doesn’t slow down or even take a break because we do in fact “Go Hard” here in Denver and now that 2015 is in our hindsight’s it’s time to pick up and carry this momentum and move forward into the New Year with the same amount of energy, focus and dedication to bring you nothing but the best in bass music. So sit back and brace yourself for the first “This Month In Bass” of 2016 because I promise it is absolutely ridiculous. 
We start off with Electronic Tuesdays and it has a seriously packed line up of talent from both near and far. Things get real serious on the first Tuesday of the year as we have Firepower/SMOG/Uplink Audio bad man Algo taking control of the dance alongside December battle winner Siren. The following week is the return of Djunya with Sub.mission resident Subliminal and our long time homie from the “Land of Enhcantment” Crix Siaz. Afterwards we finally have the long awaited arrival of Mind Step bad man Trashbat! He graces Electronic Tuesdays alongside New York sub stepper Blind Prophet and local favorite Cord. Finishing off the January edition of E-Tuesday’s is the return of the St. Louis riddim boss Bommer alongside Mile High Club’s AOWL and Sub.mission resident Dillard. We hope you have your “Not Fucking Around” pants on because January E-Tuesdays is going to shake you to very core! 
In the midst of all that madness we have long time Sub.mission favorite Cookie Monsta returning to Colorado for a two night run! These two shows are going to be a full on past, present and future showcase of the dubstep sound. On January 8th he takes over the new Aggie Theater in Fort Collins with Subliminal, Sektah and Wadada. Needless to say Fort Collins is about to be seriously bouncing that night! Night two Cookie Monsta takes over Cervantes with one of our favorite Salt Lake City and Sub.mission Agency bad men playing a Grimblee vs Hecka set with residents Swayd and CurlyOne on support. These two nights will most definitely sell out so getting your tickets ASAP should be on your to do list. Don’t say we didn’t warn you ;)
Moving forward into 2016 Sub.mission will be returning to Club Vinyl for a few very intimate events. First up we are proud to be teaming up once again with The Hundreds on January 20th to bring out the legendary turntablist and other half of the Jurassic 5 DJ duo Cut Chemist! This one will most definitely sell out fast so getting your tickets early is most definitely a must. Up next we team up with Recon DNB & Language Denver and we all make our return to the Vinyl Basement for BASSment Underground! Kicking things off Language is bringing out Mystikal Influence, Goreteks and Miss Felix on January 2nd and then Denver Juke steps in and takes over on January 9th for DJ Earl, MoonDoctoR & FreshtillDef. Recon DNB kicks off 2016 with Dub Phizix & MC Strategy on January 16th and Sub.mission brings out Swedish Duo and dubstep legends L-Wiz alongside Subliminal, Dillard and Buttah. To top it off L-Wiz is playing a LIVE SET so you know the BASSment is about to have some serious bounce when they play “Girl From Codene City”! We finish off with the return of Sub.mission Agency bad man Mr. Vandal, who we all know never disappoints and always brings the A game so there’s no better way finish off this absolutely stacked month and if you ask us it looks like January @ Vinyl is the place to be and we wouldn’t have it any other way! 
2016 is off to a massive start and this is only the beginning! Between how the insane momentum of last year’s E-Tuesday’s is being carried into the New Year, the two city two night Colorado run of Cookie Monsta, Cut Chemist taking over Vinyl and the weekly BASSment Underground gathering of the “Bass Tribes” in the Vinyl Basement there’s no doubt that this year is looking bigger and better than ever and we couldn’t be happier to share it all with you, the Denver massive.
