This week’s edition of the Sub.mission podcast features Denver DJ and producer Retina. An alumni of the infamous local “front row crew,” the young artist is well educated on the art of building a set. His mix for Sub.mission starts out dark and dubby, escalating to disruptive, distorted nightmare vibes as it progresses. Retina’s selection highlights his influences as a producer with tracks spanning dubstep’s timeline and plenty of unreleased material from numerous artists weaved seamlessly alongside his own original tunes.
