This week's edition of the Sub.mission Podcast features veteran DJ and Denver dubstep staple Cord. Originally from New Mexico, Cord has functioned as a fixture in the Colorado bass community for longer than many of its fans have been alive. The seasoned curator and scene activist is a champion for up-and-coming local DJs and producers: along with his Bassment Sessions show on Subtle.FM, which spotlights Colorado's underground bass music artists in guest mixes every week, Cord created the "Colorado Collective" mix series featuring tunes exclusively from mile-high producers. A talented producer himself, Cord's Cold EP is available now via Bandcamp.
